Ahh, the ukulele.

It’s origins reach decades into the past and continue to blossom towards the future. In fact, we dare say the ukulele is one of the most incredibly diverse – and unique – instruments of today.

Here’s 5 reasons why we think the ukulele is truly a one-of-a-kind instrument.

REASON #1: UKULELE HAS MAGIC POWERS

We've got hours and hours of proof: the ukulele is endowed with special happiness skills. Silliness skills. Lightheartedness. Fun-ness. It's true. Ukulele is medicine for unhappiness. Just try feeling bad whilst strumming a little ukulele. Try and be frustrated, sad, or lonely. (HINT: it won't work.)

REASON #2: THE (UKULELE) UNIVERSAL LAW

All of the best days start with ukulele; any truly enjoyable day must begin with the sweet sounds of an uke. Turns out this is actually a scientific law (according to my mom), so... just to play it safe, start every day off right: start it with an uke.

REASON #3: UKULELE LOVES TO TRAVEL

Why did you think they were so small, anyway? Ukulele loooooves to travel, so take yours everywhere you go! Cars, bikes, airports, hikes - uke was made to move.

REASON #4: UKULELES TRAVEL IN PACKS

Have you ever seen a litter of kittens playing together? Ukuleles are like that: the more the merrier. So make sure your ukulele has some ukulele friends; solo ukes get lonely.

REASON #5: UKULELE LOVE IS CONTAGIOUS

Fair warning. When you fall for ukulele, your family may just join you... and your friends... and coworkers... and random passersby outside your window, and so on.
